Which browsers support on-device models, and how the free parley.live demo works.
Browser & hardware
On-device models need WebGPU. Use a recent Chrome, Edge, or other Chromium-based browser on an up-to-date OS. Mobile Safari and older Firefox builds don’t have full WebGPU yet — on those, Parley falls back to the cloud route after you sign in.
The free demo on parley.live
The chat box on the parley.live landing page runs a small model locally, with no account required. To keep it fast for everyone, you get one free reply per IP address every 24 hours.
